What is digital legacy?
Digital legacy can be divided into online legacy and off-line legacy according to storage location. Unlike the legacy of physical form, digital legacy can enable inheritance to break the barriers of time and space and last longer.

Why digital legacy matters?
What remains in our memory is significant, so we can screen out what is important to us when we planning our legacy.
It provide a chance to meet the digital souls of the people we love, and refresh the precious memory with them or even get to know them more anytime, anywhere.
Online legacy will prove uniquely fascinating to those studying the dawn of the digital age. If people are willing to donate your digital legacy to society, it will be helpful for future historians and anthropologists.
Persona
Interview
In this interview, people from different generations were invited to talk about their views on digital legacy. In order to meet different age groups, 3 interviewees are chosen to represent their age groups and present their answers.
Concept
According to the research, it is found that in addition to the legacy of economic value, what people want to leave as digital legacy is something with more emotional value, which are mostly in the form of stories and memories. For these legacy, we call them emotional legacy here.
Leaving an emotional legacy is essentially a spontaneous act of love, so the experience
of both legator and legatee is crucial. Based on the previous research, I summarized
the existing problems and proposed some possible design opportunities:

Memverse is a new digital legacy planning system, which provides a more convenient way for legators to record and manage their emotional legacies and also makes it easier for legatees to read these legacies through immersive, gamelike interactions.
Unlike other forms of digital estate planning projects, Memverse keeps memories and love alive.
